Listen deeply. Read your life with God. Take your next step with freedom.
A space for real questions
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You may be carrying questions about faith, work, relationships, commitment, service, or your future.
Discernment helps you listen with honesty, notice what is happening within you, and respond to God with greater peace and freedom.
You may be asking
- What is God asking of me now?
- How do I make a good decision?
- Why do I feel pulled in different directions?
- Is this desire coming from fear, pressure, or freedom?
- Could God be calling me to something more?
- How do I know what is true and lasting?
These are real questions.
They deserve time, prayer, and a place where you can be heard.
What is discernment?
Christian discernment is a way of choosing with God.
It is not about having instant certainty.
It is about learning to listen well, recognize what is moving in your heart, and take faithful steps.
Discernment helps you:
- notice what gives life and what drains it
- read your inner movements with honesty
- grow in freedom
- choose with love and responsibility
- move with deeper peace
What do we mean by vocation?
Vocation is not a narrow word.
It is your personal response to God’s love.
It touches who you are becoming and how you are called to live, love, serve, and give your life.
For some, vocation includes questions about consecrated life.
For others, it begins with questions like these:
- What form of love and service fits my life?
- What kind of person am I becoming?
- Where do I feel called to give myself?
- What gives my life direction?

Vocational paths
God can call in different ways

A covenant of faithful love that becomes a sign of God’s tenderness in the world.

Called to preach the Word, celebrate the sacraments, and shepherd God’s people with a father’s heart.

A free and generous gift of self in work, friendship, and service for the Kingdom.

Women and men who vow their lives to God in community—joyful, simple, and close to the young in the Salesian family.
Many different ways, many different calls to serve the same INFINITE and BEAUTIFUL and LOVING GOD!

Called to preach the Word, celebrate the sacraments, and shepherd God’s people with a father’s heart.
The question is not which path looks bigger.
The question is where God is calling you to love more fully.
